VETERINARIAN

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Pacific Cat Clinic looks for Animal Health Technicians that are passionate about practice, education and quality of care. Our technicians are responsible for all aspects of patient care and treatment room management, including nursing, anesthesia, surgical preparation and assisting, dentistry, radiology, collecting, preparing and analyzing laboratory specimens, and client education. They also work as medical care co-ordinators, providing case management and client education.
ONE AHT POSITION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME (FALL 2009)
CLIENT CARE CO-ORDINATOR
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.
NO CLIENT CARE CO-ORDINATOR POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME (Fall 2009)
Responsibilities include patient care in the treatment room and exam room, maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling prescriptions, assisting technicians in all aspects of patient care, providing client care and education as needed, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in the treatment and kennel areas.
NO VET ASSISTANT POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME (Fall 2009)
CLINIC ASSISTANT/ SUPPORT STAFF
Support staff are responsible for animal handling, cleaning, feeding, re-stocking, waste disposal, and after-hours closing procedures.
